Workplace Learning Programs

BVA works together with High Schools within their Structured Workplace Learning programs to help young teen’s develop skills and to experience what this industry is really like before making their final vocational decision. It gives them the start they need to get themselves on their way to becoming either a Sheet Metal Worker or Boiler Maker if that’s what they believe they want to do.

Ken and Sharon feel that this stage of a young teens life is very important and they are very devoted to helping out all schools. Schools we have been involved with are Newton Moore Senior High, Australind Senior High, Eaton Community College, Bunbury Senior High and the South West Institute of Technology.

BVA also work together with CCI to provide our staff with traineeships and apprenticeships making sure all staff are well trained and fully qualified. Our office display wall has a number of certificates received from schools and training institutions showing their appreciation for our assistance within their training programs.

Ken Godley along with his wife Sharon have been dedicated to making BVA a friendly yet professional business, along with a reliable crew of fully qualified tradespersons. They have been able to progress BVA into an all-round metal fabrication workshop specialising in all aspects of fabrication from general sheet metal to structural steel and specialised stainless steel and aluminium. Our competent tradespersons are available to produce any goods you require and if we can’t help you then we will direct you to someone who can.

Over the years BVA has been able to establish a large list of clientele, servicing both small and large projects. We pride ourselves on being able to offer our services to the general public, who may only require a spot weld on a saucepan, to major fabrication works for large companies such as BHP Billiton Worsley, Goodman Fielder, Verve Energy, Monadelphous, RCR, V & V Walsh Abattoir’s, Laminex Group, Bemax Mineral Sands etc.
